Listening in after TSHF
Well I got my grub, generator etc in place for SHTF. Now Im ready to get some communication gear. I read that a couple of
ICOM IC T7H Sport VHF/UHF Handheld Dual Band 2Way Radios would be a good choice for the prime purpose of listening in on FEMA, police, DHS etc. reports. I have to plead ignorant if this is a good radio for the purpose mentioned above. What do you radio guys have to say about this model or any other one you have that you are personally proud of and would recommend or can suggest instead of the above model? While you are at it, for me and surely other survival prep folks considering or already having acquired some good radio gear--- it sure would help to know just what frequencies, bands a person would benefit the most in a SHTF scenario. I just want to know at least a little of what is going around me when the lights go out. |
Re: Listening in after TSHF
